Alpine Air Express Adds to Beech Turboprop Fleet

Utah headquartered regional air cargo operator Alpine Air Express has announced the acquisition of four Beech 1900 turboprop aircraft to add the airlines existing fleet which already sports twelve of the 1900 type as well as sixteen Beech 99 aircraft.Beech 1900C

Operating cargo flights in six states in the United States of America, Alpine Air Express carry’s a variety of cargoes for the United States Postal Service, as well as other international carriers.

In welcoming the acquisition of the four additional aircraft, the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Alpine Air Express, Mr Joe Echart noted the continued demand for Alpine Air Express services.  "Our aircraft, pilots and staff are busy, " said Echart and "our management team expects this trend to continue.

Adding that in order to enable the airline to grow, the company will continue to pursue new routes as well as expanding the fleet, Echart said that "After increasing our lift capacity by 22,000 pounds, we are excited about the additional revenue opportunities and drive future profitability."

According to Alpine Express, each of the airlines current fleet of Beech 1900 aircraft is capable of carrying a 6,000 pound payload, more economically than any other air cargo aircraft in its class.
