Global parcel delivery company United Parcel Service (UPS) has advised that the company has amended its UPS On-Call Pickup service in the United States for air packages.

Designed to provide customers with more options to satisfy business requirements, UPS has made the On-Call Pickup Service for air packages available to more than 4,000 postal code areas, with air pickup times have extended in nearly 6,000 postal code areas.

UPS advises that these enhancements equate to an improved service for 26 percent of all businesses in the United States, and that the enhancements provide business with additional flexibility it needs when it comes to meeting critical deadlines.

With the enhanced On-Call Pickup Service for air packages beginning as of last month, UPS says that the service is now available for same-day pickup in most parts of the country, with businesses only needing to visit the UPS scheduling website(*) to arrange the pickup service.

In addition to the enhancements to the On-Call Pickup Service for air packages, UPS maintains more that 4,400 UPS Store and Mail Box locations throughout the United States, locations that provide prompt access to the company’s worldwide delivery network.
