Californian based overnight package delivery company, OnTrac, this week announced that the company has opened a new new OnTrac Support Centre in San Jose California.

The San Jose OnTrac support centre is housed in the new 35,000 square foot facility in the Californian city and according to OnTrac will  centralize all dispatching services, route management and field customer service.

The Chief Operating Officer of OnTrac, Rob Humphrey said that The consolidation and management of OnTrac’s functions and services in one location, in conjunction with recent technology advancements, "will bring an improved level of service" the Ontrac’s customers. Humphrey also added that "We have achieved great success by centralizing tasks," and that the "new center will have an immediate and positive impact for our customers."

OnTrac says that the new support Centre will be fully staffed and fully operational by the end of August, the company also pleased that the new facility has created several new positions and employment opportunities for the region.

Commencing operations in 1992, OnTrac currently serves over 50 million people in five states in the western part of the United States.
