Trucking and Warehousing’s TCI Opens Up New Florida Terminal
New Orleans based trucking and warehousing company, Transportation
Consultants Incorporated (TCI) announced today that the company has opened a new terminal in Jacksonville, Florida.
The terminal, which is 20 minutes from the Port of Jacksonville and includes over 20,000 square feet of warehouse space, will enable TCI to offer its storage, container drayage, commodity and trucking consulting services to clients in the South West of the United States, as well as clients in the Caribbean region.
Indeed, TCI opened its Jacksonville terminal having received confirmation that various Caribbean firms would sign three year deals for the company’s cargo consolidating and warehousing services.
Commenting on the opening of the Jacksonville terminal, the President of TCI, Christian Jensen said that "TCI Jacksonville is custom designed for providing outstanding supply chain services for the new Caribbean accounts."
Jensen added that in addition to the company’s Caribbean clients, TCI welcomes welcomes new and existing business in the Jacksonville-area, and that the company’s Jacksonville operation offers "a full complement of services to help customers gain a competitive edge through execution of efficient and nimble supply chains."
TCI specializes in containerised cargo, with seven locations in the United States as well as a facility in Costa Rica. The company operates a fleet of over 250 trucks in carrying out its trucking and warehousing business.
