Air cargo transportation holding company ABX Holdings has announced its intention to change the companies name.  Effective immediately the company will now be known as Air Transport Services Group, Inc.

Air Transport Services Group has several subsidiaries which are dedicated to the air cargo industry, from aircraft conversion to cargo charters, as well as airport-to-airport freight transportation services for well known brands such as DHL.

While the name of the holding company has changed, it is believed that the names of Air Transport Services Groups’ subsidiaries will not change.  The holding company having achieved a measure of success in 2007 with a recorded profit of $19.6 million on $1.17 billion in revenue.
